True luxury isn’t about what you have, but how you feel when you’re here.

01

What is changing in luxury travel today?

Travellers are more intentional. They want authenticity, privacy and experiences that feel personal, not just exclusive. Luxury is no longer about showing — it’s about feeling.

02

What are luxury travellers asking for that they weren’t asking for five years ago?

Wellness, sustainability and meaningful connections. Guests ask where the food comes from, who made the furniture and how the hotel gives back to the community. They want to feel good, not just look good.

03

What destination, experience or trend do you believe will become important next?

Smaller, lesser-known destinations with strong culture and nature — places like the Adriatic coast. The next big thing is ‘quiet luxury’: less hype, more depth.

04

What does “luxury” mean to you personally?

It’s freedom — the freedom to choose, to slow down and to be yourself. And time: the rarest luxury today is time without interruptions.

05

What is one thing the luxury travel industry should be paying more attention to?

People. The industry needs to invest more in the teams behind the experiences — their training, wellbeing and growth. Great service starts with great people.
